My Mixture of April Favourites

IMG_6168

I have been loving so many things this month! A mixture of beauty and fashion goodies, because the winter is coming and I’m preparing for cold mornings and dry skin!

You will probably have seen a lot of these things in other posts, but I thought I’d put them all together and talk a bit about them as my favourites. So I hope you enjoy!

My jeans and coat both bought off the Superbalist app.

These jeans are so, so , sooo comfy! I wore them for a week straight after I got them. They have some rips in them, but nothing too drastic, so I don’t need to worry about my legs getting cold in winter! (I get cold so easily)

They are from Missguided and are a dark denim, but they aren’t stiff or hard to wear. They feel so soft and look really nice as they are, or with the ends rolled up for a bit more of a cropped look.

My dusty pink coat is going to be worn so much! It’s by Only and feels so incredible. The material is soft and super warm. I like it because it has a really floppy hood, and it has a zip and buttons.

I just fell in love with the colour when I saw it! If you read my post on ‘Blushing in Dusty Pink‘ you’ll know that this colour is one of my best and so fashionable right now.

Since I got this coat I have been waiting so patiently for the weather to get colder so I could whip it out and strut my stuff 😉 And then finally the cold days slowly started moving in and I have been loving it like crazy!

On to my make-up goodies..

I have spoken about most of these because I’m a little obsessed, but I can’t help it! They are all incredible.

Firstly, the L’Oréal Infallible 24hr foundation is one of the best I’ve tried. It’s so smooth when applied, but has really good coverage. And it really lives up to its 24hr name. I was looking for something different, and I just decided to give it a try because I liked the look of it and I am a big fan of L’Oréal. I have most definitely not been disappointed!

The L’Oréal False Lash Superstar X Fiber mascara is second on my list of favourites. Again, I’ve spoken about this before in my ‘A L’Oréal Love affair’ post – but if you love something, you love something! I love the feel of the wands – they feel really sturdy, which is strange because it’s not something I would usually notice in a mascara! But I love it anyhow. And the actual wands themselves are amazing and really give my lashes a stunning curl.

Next up is my Infallible Sable L’Oréal lip colour. It’s a really gorgeous mauve/nude. I love that it is a matte lip shade, but has the lip ice part that is applied over, which then softens the harsh matte feel on the lips.

My last lip product is The Kiss from Lush. I got this as a present because of my continuous struggles with my forever dry lips! This is a scrub that you rub over your lips to get rid of the dead skin. And then once you’ve finished, you lick your lips and it has a really sweet taste, which I find quite cute. This scrub has really helped my lips soften and I carry it in my bag wherever I go!

I have been so excited when using these next two products! Both of which are sadly not available in South Africa.. which I personally think is really sad. But anyway – these were brought from Dubai for me and since then I have been using them basically everyday.

The Anastasia Beverley Hills Contour Cream Kit – oh my word, if ever there was a competition for best contour product, this would win. It is so creamy and amazing. It blends onto your skin so nicely and literally looks flawless.

Then the Tarte ‘Pro To Go’ palette is small, but deadly 😉 The shadows in this palette are so pigmented – I’ve never come across a more pigmented palette. The shades are deep and extremely stunning for evening smokey eyes. I’m already sad that I won’t be able to replace this when it’s finished!

And lastly on my list are my absolute beauties from YDE – my boots. I had my eye on these for so long. The heel is what grabbed my attention. The metallic is just so unique and stylish. And then with the sock-boot feel of the suede, these are definitely a favourite.

When I put them on I just feel very confident and beautiful – and is that not what fashion is about? I think YES!
